USOAL
makes affordable hydrogen fuel from water and sunlight

USOAL sells hydrogen gas for as little as $800 per metric ton delivered to your site in the
continental United States.  We deliver on long-term supply contracts to stationary users of fuel.

The Value of Hydrogen
Since each ton of hydrogen contains 141.8 gigajoules of energy, a metric ton of hydrogen is
equivalent to the following fuels, at the following prices;

   6.16 tons coal at  $129.76 per short ton
 23.24 barrels of oil at $34.42 per barrel
120.37 mcf of natural gas at $6.13 per mcf

Carbon Avoided per Ton of Hydrogen
Since hydrogen gas has no carbon at all, it is not capable of producing carbon dioxide.  So,
when hydrogen is substituted for any of the fuels above, the amount of carbon dioxide is
avoided for every ton of hydrogen used;

18.85 tons of carbon dioxide when burning a ton of hydrogen instead of coal
 9.70 tons of carbon dioxide when burning a ton of hydrogen instead of oil
 6.90 tons of carbon dioxide when burning a ton of hydrogen instead of natural gas

Dual Fuel Facility
USOAL offers the ability to convert your facilities to use hydrogen plus the fuel you're using now,
giving you the assurance of reliable supply.

Fuel Trading Program
Since hydrogen can be used to upgrade the quality of fuels and because higher quality fuels
are worth more, USOAL supports a fuel trading program to reduce your fuel costs, in some
cases, to nearly nothing!  This allows you to maintain existing long-term supply contracts, and
actually reduce costs while converting to pollution free hydrogen.  Check out the examples to
see how this works.

Value Combination
Entering a contract with USOAL to supply hydrogen to your facility locks in low-pricing for the
long-term and eliminates emissions entirely.  Your facility is adapted to use the hydrogen in
addition to the fuel you're using now.  Finally, USOAL trades hydrogen for your existing fuels and
installs fuel upgrade systems to use additional hydrogen to create upgraded fuels at your site.

Sequestration
Hydrogen can be made to combine with carbon-dioxide directly using the Sabatier Process.  A
ton of hydrogen gas can convert 5.5 tons of carbon-dioxide into 2 tons of methane and 4.5 tons
of water.  Pay us $800 for each ton of hydrogen used, provide the carbon dioxide to one of our
sequestration sites, and we'll split the profit from methane sales with you.
